Every night I have to reseat the water chamber because there’s a loud leak, but also the machine stops and tells me there is a large leak. I have the 11 and listening to my breathing is a little louder than listening to my husband’s on the 10, but I think that’s because it’s much closer to my head. Mine is definitely quieter than my DS1. I've heard a couple of patients mention that whatever they got as a replacement was loud.
